All There is To Know About Botox Injections

In general:

Botox is the brand name of the type a botulinum toxin type A, of which has subtypes. Type B (Btx-b) is known as Neurobloc in E.U. or Myobloc in the United States, both of which work for medical and/or therapeutic purposes. Botox itself is more popular as it is a non-surgical cosmetic function. It is also known as Vistabel in E.U. and Diport.

How to produce the botulinum toxin:

In the 1950s, despite its much earlier experience, a very small injection of botulinum toxin type A (BTX-A) was used to reduce overactive muscle activity. In that same period, she was tried in cosmetic treatments. In 1989, in the United States, Allergan Inc. obtained the approval of F.D.A., whose name is Botox. The approval of its cosmetic use came in 2002, when the researchers discovered that it had cosmetic effects.

Technically, the botulinum toxin is produced by bacteria. Once processed, the injection works to interfere with nerve impulses, among other things. As such, it has come to serve many purposes in non-surgical cosmetic treatment, namely the removal of lines. However, its effects are not permanent, so there may be a need for injections in the future.

Use the botulinum toxin for treatment:

It was used to treat alghalibet lines (the appearance of severe frown lines between eyebrows), excessive sweating in the armpit, cramping, muscle disorders and even obesity. The study of other treatments using Botox is still ongoing.

Botox is usually a prescribed medication and needs to be administered by a qualified physician. For this reason, it is recommended that this be done in a controlled location, i.e. the doctor's office. In this way, any possible immediate side effects can be monitored by the treating physician. For this reason, among other things, the so-called "Botox limbs " is not recommended.

Apparently in the United States, Botox has been licensed for use in single-usage vials. In other words, it is prescribed for use for one person. Bottles do not contain anything that can prevent contamination if it is used repeatedly for more than one person. However, this is the number of individuals who aim to reduce the cost of injections, as well as to undergo injections in a more social atmosphere.

Unfortunately, alcohol consumption in such an environment can defeat the purpose of injections. After receiving the syringe, the individual is recommended: do not rub his face and stand upright for several hours. They both aim to prevent Botox from moving outside the target area. Here, one of the most well-known side effects are falling eyelids. This is because the muscles that control the eyelids become paralyzed. However, this side effect is usually considered to last only a few days.

Regardless, since Botox comes from a neurotoxin, you should be very cautious when using it like any treatment. You should also consult your physician about the frequency of injections required. This may be anywhere between four and eight months, but not less than three.
